Elvis Jeannot is an Associate of the practice, with a primary role of guiding our continued exploration of educational thought leadership.
Since completing a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Melbourne he has focused on exploring how the design of educational environments can enhance learning.
Elvis managed the design and delivery of the new Deakin University Melbourne Campus. This included the masterplan, strategic plan, education brief, design philosophy and conceptual planning of four major faculty buildings, and the campus consolidation.
Within the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development he led the design of schools on a transformational project. Elvis managed the school community and architects to align design with pedagogical models, inclusion of early childhood centres, community partnerships and school mergers.
Since joining Smith + Tracey in 2015 he has continued to research the link between design and education outcomes in a number of key primary and secondary school projects.
